Getting the Most out of Your Wardrobe

Sweater Zara, dress French Connection, jacket Ardene, bag Rebecca Minkoff, boots Franko Sarto (Winners), fur stole vintage When I shot this look a week ago, I thought it would be the last time I would wear this fur stole and warm jacket. Forward to a week later, and the spring has brought with it winter weather. Not only do I need this fur stole to keep me warm, but skirts are out of the question. Well this is not really a skirt under this sweaterdress. It's actually a dress from French Connection I wore in this post, which I tied with a slim belt & folded under to shorten the length. I wanted a pleated skirt but i would wear them under longer top or sweater anyway, so why not use what I already had in my closet instead. Though it was a warm day, nilons & over the knee socks were needed for some added warmth.  Ciao! Sasha <3 J

Mixing Stripes for Spring

Pants & jacket Banana Republic, shirt H&M, bag Proenza Schouler, fur sole vintage Today's outfit is all about stripes. The trend is very big for spring, especially bright colour stripes. To be honest, I don't think this is anything new. They are one of those classic trends that just keeps on giving. Today I mixed horizontal and vertical stripes for a fun eye catching outfit which I wore to the Toronto Fashion Week (to be honest I wore it to work before that heheh).  I am in love with these pants in particular because of their  perfectly tailored fit, colour and material. They are just perfect for cooler fall and spring days, but can be worn in the summer around the city or on vacation. I opted here to pair them with the cropped jacket from Banana Republic too and my vintage fur stole, which seems to be part of every single outfit I have worn or pictured lately.  Happy 2nd day of spring my dears! Ciao! Sasha <3

Louboutins & Chanel - Classics Forever

Pumps Christian Louboutin, bag vintage Chanel Classic (Maxi), pants New Yorker ( similar leather pants ), sweater Zara, necklace unknown, scarf/choker Zara, rings Forever 21, watch unknown, bracelets (hand cuffs) La Senza And so the spring is here…or so it feels like it. It’s time to bare shoulders again. Bringing you today another relaxed and somewhat oversized outfit. All items are old from my closet, except my new big love and big treat, my vintage maxi Chanel classic bag. I have been saving up for some time and have been looking for an older model to buy. They are quite hard to find in Canada so I was beyond excited when I stumbled upon this one. I have been researching them online but most online stores are in US, and with such weak Canadian dollar, it would be a waste of money to buy from those sites. Add to that the customs fee, and you are paying 40% more than the actual price of the bag. This just meant more patience and research on my end. It paid off! Tod
